We have been keeping track of her words on a sheet on the fridge and at this point, it's filled and we're squeezing them in. I think we've hit the point where we don't need to keep track. The vocabulary continues to amaze me, especially now that two words phrases are far more frequent. I'm most proud of read book and the addition of please to any request. I think it's adorable when she says good girl as evidence of our positive reinforcement. There for a while there was a definite pattern to her words. Do you see one? Arm stuck, Help stuck, Help up, Help chair, etc. It's usually because she insisted on sitting her bottom in something that was not intended as a toddler containment unit.
While I've been enjoying the unseasonably cool temps the last week, I hope it does warm up just so we can eek out a few more dips in the pool. I've grown to love this view.

Toddler containment unit. Love it!
LOL @ Toddler Containment Unit! That is just a myth. Such a thing does not exist!
I love "I am Not the Boss", too. So true. :-)
Happy Half Birthday, Amelia! I flaked on scheduling the 18mo appt. as well, but am lucky that his dr. could get him in quickly. I'll take fun photos over stats anyway!
yeah, i flaked too, max will be having a 2 year and 1 month check up and andy will be having a 7 month check up... and frankly it's really annoying me that andy will be off schedule for the next few check ups...
I also love the "I am not the boss!" :) She is so adorable.
I must find one of these toddler containment units! She's just a doll!
Is this toddler containment unit CYS approaved? ;)
Happy 18 months sweet little girl - you are getting so big!
Amelia is just so stinkin' cute. What a character hiding behind the chair. I'm sure she is constant entertainment. :)
