Miss me?

It seems like we've been going in warp speed ever since The Boss turned two. Our social calendars were so full we were writing outside of the calendar boxes. It was a good thing. All the friend time has been wonderful!

I had a goal to finish something that had languished in the knitting bag just way too long though. I absolutely had to finish a blanket intended for The Boss before it turned a year old itself. It turns out that I actually kind of like the fact that she didn't receive it until now because she is totally aware that I made it. And when I see her love it or hear her ask for it specifically, it makes me feel really good.

The colors are much prettier in person. I was never able to get an accurate shot of the green color in the blanket, but I'm pleased with how it turned out.
