It's the little things.

Sometimes it is the simplest things. It was a bitter cold and snowy day, so obviously we were stuck inside to play all day long.

But alas, there was one thing that really spiced it up for The Boss and buddy, Finn.

It was garbage day! Wahoo! Nothing says toddler joy like watching the garbage truck.

Mesmerized.

Hi hardworking guys!In denial that the truck is leaving the street.Attempting a better view...must.see.every.moment.

Next week: The recycling truck!

I think there is a lesson in here somewhere for us adults and I think you know what it is!

I am cracking up over here! It looks like she's about to climb on top of him to get an even better view.

That is hilarious (and gives me hope that something at some point will hold EJ's attention long enough for her to sit still!)

So cute! Must be a kid thing...my brothers were obsessed with the garbage truck when they were younger. They used to go out every week and pretend to dump the garbage, and they would fight over who got to pretend to compact it. The garbage men got a big kick out of it.

I think I'm very glad to know that Heather isn't the only one obsessed with this weekly occurrence. She doesn't seem to understand why it doesn't come everyday...

That is an adorable photo montage. My cousin used to love the garbage collection process so much that for a very loooong time his sole career focus was to be a garbageman. Sorry, waste disposal specialist.
