Snooze.

Oh boy. This blog has been a big snooze-fest of late, eh? Well, you see, snoozing has been a large part of how I've been spending my free time. It's true. This night owl has been forced to change her ways.

I've been working on this little (but major!) project I haven't shared with you that has sapped all of my energy and stolen all the moments I used to share with you. Here's a sneak peak from nearly a month ago--time flies when you sleep a lot! Obviously, a project that's not of the knit or sewn variety, but hopefully there will be many of those projects to welcome this lil' (hopefully) spiky haired baby into our family. Yes, The Boss is getting her Assistant to the Regional Manager. Ok, that sounded way funnier in my head.

The Boss has been an absolute hoot about this pregnancy stuff though. Three year olds do ask the most darling and insightful questions like "what time is the baby coming?" and "is the baby coming out with us today?". The only item of contention is that the baby gets to come to my office with me and she doesn't. Life is so unfair already!

In the spirit of Earth Day and in preparation for another baby to grace our house, we've decided to do cloth diapers this time around. No doubt there is going to be a big learning curve and I needed to talk myself down a bit about how many diapers newborns go through those first few months, but I think I have everyone in the house on board. I mean, why boast that you have laundry under control unless you're going to wreck the system? ha!

Hopefully, as I start to get my energy back, I'll become more active in posting, but honestly, I don't think this is the first time in the upcoming months and years where sleep will win.

Be well, friends.

Number 2 is always fun & exciting! We do cloth part time here - and didn't do it when the baby was a newborn - best of luck to you!!!

Love the pic! And don't worry...you won't have any energy left over to complain about the extra laundry when it's time :)

it's really a wonderful to see your baby in the ultrasound. parenting is a tough job and an enjoyable experience as well. it's a great instinct skill and talent that you'll be proud of.
